While I was out,

I'm working on my leg warmers.  I'm working with bamboo needles.  That means the yarn doesn't slide very easy.  That means my finger hurts.  Compounded with the fact that the plastic piece that is connecting my needles so I can knit in the round it about half an inch too long, also making for a lot more pushing and pulling and dicking with it to make the yarn move.  MY FINGER HURTS!!

Onward

I have finished four christmas presents.  One bitchin' scarf, three sets of fingerless gloves.

Christmas Presents

Making my mom and her friends some Christmas presents.  You can kinda see the cable.  Supper simple to make.  They are knitted flat then seemed leaving a hole for the thumb.

Mail Call

The day after Thanksgiving I went to visit my step-grandmother, soon to be titled, just friend.  Her sister was at the gathering.  I brought this blanket.

Seeing as how they taught me how to knit, I thought I would show them the goods.

She them told me that she had this afghan kit that she was never going to use and that she would give it to me.  She had it in two colors and one of those colors was "eggplant".  Naturally, I chose that one.  It came in the mail today.  How great is free stuff in the mail!

I got a free pattern off of Lion Brand yarn and knitted up a teddy bear. It turned out really cute.
